Welcome to the Morning Seminar, where the 2025 edition of the Swedish Fashion report will be presented. The Swedish Fashion report is an annual report produced in a collaboration between Stockholm Fashion District, Svensk Handel, and Swedish Fashion Council. Come and listen to Helena Waker, CEO at Stockholm Fashion District, who will initiate the session by presenting the collaboration between the three organizations and highlight the importance of the results for today's fashion industry. Following, Sofia Larsen, CEO of Svensk Handel, will offer her insights and anchor the report in the reality of Swedish stores. Take the opportunity to, in an accessible way, take part of the latest statistics and get an overview of the key factors affecting the Swedish fashion industry during 2025, and what it will mean for the future.
About Sofia Larsen and Svensk Handel: Sofia Larsen has, since 2022, been the CEO of the trade and employer organization Svensk Handel. Of their 9,000 members, one third are retail companies in fashion, footwear, and sports apparel. Svensk Handel also has the industry office Svensk Handel Stil, which publishes the monthly Stilindex and the annual report Svenskt Mode together with Stockholm Fashion District and the Swedish Fashion Council.
